Qahwa Maâtra – The Espresso Interpretation
$26.00
A perfumed espresso born from one of Algeria’s oldest coffee ritual
Qahwa Maâtra dates back to the 17th century, when Algerians infused their coffee with cinnamon, vanilla, and orange blossom water to create a drink that filled homes with fragrance. Reimagined for espresso, this version uses a high grade single origin Monsooned Malabar, roasted to have the perfect notes for Qahwa Maâtra, smooth, low in acidity, and rich enough to carry the warmth of spice and blossom.
Each sip recalls an older Algeria, where coffee was brewed slowly, served with honeyed sweets, and remembered for its scent as much as its taste.
Tasting Notes: Cocoa, toasted grain, dried date, molasses, gentle spice, very low acidity
Best enjoyed: Espresso, moka, or briq
